Linux administration
Building confidence with the operating systems and tools that support modern services.
Learning environment
A personal space for learning how systems work together — from Linux administration and networking to self-hosting and dependable operations.
Purpose
The homelab gives me a place to practice deliberately, make mistakes safely, and build a stronger understanding of the systems behind everyday software. It is an ongoing learning project rather than a finished product.
Areas of focus
Building confidence with the operating systems and tools that support modern services.
Learning the principles that let systems communicate reliably and securely.
Exploring how services are maintained, updated, monitored, and recovered over time.
Approach
I’m approaching this work with care: documenting what I learn, thinking about updates and recovery, and treating privacy and security as part of the process — not an afterthought.
This is intentionally a high-level overview. I don’t publish credentials, private network information, hostnames, service addresses, serial numbers, configuration files, or other identifying infrastructure details.
